Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments. Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate staff members. Verify patient insurance eligibility, benefits, copays, deductibles, and referral requirements prior to appointments. Obtain prior authorizations and ensure accurate insurance information is documented in patient records. Maintain patient records while ensuring confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
