Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dependable and organized Medical Administrative Assistant to support the daily operations of our healthcare office. This role is responsible for managing front-desk activities, coordinating patient communications, providing administrative support to staff while ensuring a positive patient experience. Responsibilities Greet and assist patients in a professional and compassionate manner Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries Maintain and update electronic medical records (EMR) accurately Verify insurance information and assist with billing documentation Process intake forms, referrals, and medical documentation Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and specialists Manage office supplies and administrative tasks as needed Ensure compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality standards Experience Prior clinic or medical office experience is
REQUIRED
Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) Knowledge of health insurance processes including medical billing, coding (ICD-10/ICD-9), CPT coding, and Medicare guidelines Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide clear information via phone and in person; bilingual abilities are a plus Demonstrated understanding of HIPAA regulations and clinical confidentiality policies to protect patient privacy Ability to perform clerical tasks such as typing, filing, data entry, and maintaining accurate records efficiently This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to contribute to quality patient care through exceptional administrative support.
