Excellent communication skills in person / on the phone - understanding and have compassion Verify insurances / update in the patient's charts. Bilingual, fluency in Spanish recommended New patient registration/ gather all information/ have parents change PCP before the visit and explain why it is important to do so and/or assist them in changing PCP Collects Co-pays Answer phone calls and direct the calls to the appropriate person. Always add your notes to the charts when giving advice or returning calls. Able to multitask the front desk and the doctors orders/ some paperwork/referrals administration work / faxing out / scanning into charts Help where help is needed / Team player Communication with the provider is very important Will be trained in Epic EHR . Arrive to your position on time working hours Monday to Friday and Saturday 1/2 days, maximum 40 hours per week
