Job Description
About us We are a well established podiatry office. Our office has been in business for 20+ years. Our physicians are trained in all foot and ankle needs including surgery and trauma. Our front desk team works hard to ensure a positive work environment and an A+ experience for our patients. This posting is for a part time front desk position at our pilot office in Rockwall. Job hours would be Monday 8:30-4:30, Tuesday 8:30-4:30 and Thursdays 8:30

Medical Receptionist Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member
- Schedule appointments and manage physician appointment calendars
- Verify patient insurance information and collect necessary co-pays or payments
- Maintain patient records and update information as needed
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient operations
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality
Qualifications:
- Experience in eligibility and benefits checks.
- Previous experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred
- Proficient in using phone systems and handling multiple phone lines
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus
