About The Position We are looking for a personable, friendly, and energetic person to be the receptionist at our new private optometry clinic. As the first and last person our patients interact with, your professionalism, empathy, and energy set the entire tone for their visit. As the first impression for our patients and customers, and will be responsible for greeting each and every individual kindly and courteously. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, an effective communicator, and wants to build lasting relationships with families in our community while growing your career in the healthcare industry. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly upon arrival Manage the schedule to optimize patient flow Accurately book appointments via phone and online systems Confirm upcoming visits and manage cancellations appropriately Verify insurance coverage and vision benefits before appointments Collect copays, deductibles, and balances for services and eyewear Clearly explain office policies, intake forms, and pricing to patients Maintain a clean and organized work environment Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent Part-Time availability, including occasional Saturdays Great interpersonal and customer service skills Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain tidy spaces Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced medical environment Previous front desk experience Previous experience in an optical setting Compensation and Benefits $16 - 20/hr Paid Time Off 401(k) Annual free eye exam and pair of glasses

$16.00 - $20.00 per hour
