Job Description
Hiring Urgently Page Family Practice is seeking an experienced, full-time Medical Scribe to join our growing team. This position works directly alongside our family practice providers to accurately document patient encounters, assist with chart preparation, and help ensure efficient patient care throughout the day. We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and is comfortable working closely with physicians and advanced practice providers. Previous medical scribe experience is required. Applicants without prior medical scribe experience will not be considered. This is an in-person position and is not eligible for remote work. Responsibilities Document patient encounters in real time during provider visits Accurately record histories, assessments, treatment plans, and provider instructions Review and prepare patient charts prior to appointments Update medications, allergies, medical histories, and other chart information Assist providers with chart completion and documentation management Communicate effectively with providers, medical assistants, and office staff Support efficient patient flow throughout the clinic Perform clerical and administrative duties as needed Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality at all times Qualifications Required Minimum 1 year of medical scribe experience Knowledge of medical terminology Strong computer and typing skills Excellent attention to detail Ability to multitask in a busy clinical environment Professional communication skills Reliable attendance and punctuality Preferred Family practice, primary care, or internal medicine experience eClinicalWorks (eCW) experience Experience working in an outpatient medical office Schedule This is a full-time position.
