Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medication Technician / Caregiver to provide high-quality care to residents in assisted living. The ideal candidate will have experience working with seniors, individuals with developmental disabilities, or those requiring specialized memory and dementia care. This role involves administering medications, supporting patient needs, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for all residents. A strong understanding of medical documentation, HIPAA regulations, and patient care procedures is essential to succeed in this position. Responsibilities Administer prescribed medications accurately following physician orders and facility protocols. Monitor and record vital signs, medication effects, and patient responses using EMR/EHR systems. Assist residents with activities of daily living. Maintain detailed and compliant medical records and documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Observe and report any changes in resident health status to supervisors promptly. Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a caring environment. Follow safety protocols related to infection control, medication administration, and resident safety. Must pass background check.
