NIGHT SHIFT
7pm-7am your schedule would be the following: Week 1:, Wednesday, Thursday 7p-7a Week 2: Friday, Saturday , Sunday 7pm-7am (Then it repeats. Week 3 is the same as week 1 and week 4 is the same as week 2).
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medication Technician to join our healthcare team. As a Medication Technician, you will be responsible for administering medications to patients and ensuring their overall well-being. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals residing in an assisted living facility.
Duties:
  • Administer medications to patients according to prescribed dosages and schedules
  • Monitor patients for any adverse reactions or side effects from medications
  • Document medication administration accurately in medical records and maintain confidentiality
  • Assist with other healthcare tasks as needed, such as taking vital signs or assisting with medical procedures
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and communicate any changes in patient condition or medication needs
  • Follow all safety protocols and infection control measures
  • maintain a clean environment
  • bathe and assist residents with daily care
Requirements:
  • cmt licenses up to date
  • cpr and first aid (we can assist you with getting certified)
  • Experience working with individuals in an assisted living facility.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow medication administration protocols
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of vital signs monitoring and basic medical terminology is beneficial Please note that this position requires weekends and evening shifts.
