Responsibilities Under the direction of a licensed nurse, the Certified Medicine Aide administers medications and medicated creams within the standards of practice as permitted by their Certification and per state regulations. Springbrook offers CMAs a stable, well-structured environment supporting both rehabilitation and long-term care residents. In this role, you'll follow consistent medication routines, work alongside a collaborative nursing team, and play a key part in ensuring safe, accurate care.   • Prepare and administer routine and PRN medications to patients as prescribed by the physician and document administration per policy.
  • Maintain medication supply, clean and restock medicine carts and medicine room.
  • Notify pharmacy of new medication orders and refills.
  • Perform accurate vital sign monitoring when indicated by drug therapy Base pay: $23.50-$27.00 PLUS Shift Differential pay up to $4.50/hour depending on shift. Qualifications
  • Successful completion of a state approved medication aide training course is required.
  • Completion of a state approved certified nursing assistant training program is required.
  • Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant with one year of experience as a CNA.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our patients and visitors to respond to their medical and physical needs. Benefits

Posted Salary Range USD $23.50 - USD $34.45 /Hr.
