Job Description
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team. As a Caregiver, you will provide essential assistance and support to individuals in need of senior care. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
Duties:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Administer medications according to prescribed schedules
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations with clients
- Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, vacuuming, and tidying up living spaces
- Accompany clients to appointments or social outings as needed
- Provide support for individuals with memory care needs, including those with dementia or Alzheimer's disease
- Lift and transfer clients safely using proper techniques and assistive devices
Experience:
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols is beneficial
- Experience in memory care is advantageous
Skills:
- Compassionate and empathetic nature
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to build rapport with clients and their families
- Patience and understanding when working with individuals who may have cognitive impairments or challenging behaviors
