Job Description

Step into a dynamic educational environment supporting kindergarten classrooms as a Paraprofessional for a 60-day contract. This onsite role offers the chance to make an immediate impact at a programmatic level, providing essential instructional and behavioral support across the school. Youll collaborate closely with certified educators and play a crucial role in creating a positive, inclusive atmosphere for young learners.
Key Qualifications:
Active Delaware Paraeducator Permit is required; candidates with a pending status must provide a DEEDS screenshotapplications without this documentation will not be considered Experience or training in programmatic and behavioral support, especially within early childhood or elementary settings preferred Ability to pass all mandated background screenings, including CBC fingerprinting and Child Protective Registry Check (expenses for fingerprinting are the candidates responsibility) Commitment to completing all district-required onboarding documents such as TB testing (unless providing virtual services), fingerprint receipt, and compliance forms Effective communication skills, flexibility, and a team-oriented approach
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide instructional and behavioral support in kindergarten classrooms Assist classroom teachers with daily routines, small group activities, and student engagement Facilitate inclusion and positive interactions among students with varying needs Document observations objectively and participate in team meetings as needed Maintain a safe, nurturing, and structured classroom environment
Assignment Details:
