Behavior Specialist will conduct clinical observations and applications for use in developing a functional behavior assessment, formulation of and maintaining positive behavior support plans. Co-treatment with co-professional and paraprofessional staff is required. A behaviors specialist will compile biannual justifications for continuation of supports and turn in contracted billing notes as dictated by the Michelle P Waiver for behavior support services in conjunction with contractual obligations with Brighter Futures therapy center. Additionally, Positive behavior support specialist will collaborate with parents, teachers and other caretakers that require training on how to implement a behavior plan across the settings (but not limited to) of community, clinic, schools and home. A master's degree in relevant field is required for this position. (Counseling, Social Work, Education, Behavior Analyst, etc)
