Job Description

My Life Learning Center wishes to recruit a full time 1 on 1 (40 hours a week; Monday thru Friday) Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide support to a person with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) who has behavior challenges. The position is on location at Ellicott City, MD. The DSP will travel with the client in the DSPs vehicle for all community-based activities each day. The activities will be assigned by the supervisor at My Life Larning Center. The DSP will help the person build everyday life skills, become more independent, and take part in activities in the community. The DSP will also use positive behavior support techniques to help the person succeed while treating them with respect, dignity, and understanding. As for the work environment, services are provided throughout the community.Benefits:
