Key Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of prior experience as a paraprofessional within a school setting High school diploma or equivalent required Must meet at least one of the following: Completed at least two years of college credits (typically 60 semester credits) from an accredited institution Associate degree or higher Passing score on an approved basic skills test (
ParaPro Assessment:
455 or higher; ParaEducator assessments: 65% in Instructional Support and 70% in Knowledge and Application) Collaborative mindset and strong communication skills Adaptable to work with students in resource and center-based roles
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist classroom teachers in providing academic and behavioral support to students Work with both small groups and individual students to reinforce lesson material Support classroom management and promote a positive learning environment Implement instructional and support strategies under the guidance of certified staff Accurately record student progress and participate in team meetings This contract offers a schedule of approximately 33.75 hours per week.
