Support students daily learning and growth as a dedicated contract paraprofessional working with K-12 learners in a specialized setting. This full-time opportunity begins September 8, 2026, and concludes December 7, 2026, with a consistent Monday to Friday schedule: 7:45 AM to 2:45 PM. Key Qualifications:

Highly qualified status required via ONE of the following: Successful completion of the MN Board Highly Qualified Paraprofessional Exam At least 60 college credits, documented with official transcripts (diplomas/degree certificates not accepted) Experience supporting students in K-12 educational settings preferred Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team Commitment to supporting students with varying needs and backgrounds Reliable, punctual, and adaptable in a dynamic school environment

Responsibilities:

Assist classroom teachers with instructional activities and individualized student support Implement accommodations and modifications in alignment with student plans Supervise students to maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment Provide encouragement and positive reinforcement throughout the school day Assist with classroom management and help reinforce learning objectives Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and families This contract role offers an excellent pathway to a direct-hire position after 422 contracting hours, paving the way for continued professional growth within the district.
