Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part Time to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, including those with autism, by implementing behavioral therapy techniques and assisting with daily living activities. Responsibilities Implement behavioral therapy strategies based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles to support clients' growth and development Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, feeding, and hygiene routines Collect and document data related to client behaviors, progress, and treatment plans accurately and consistently Support the development and execution of individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs Collaborate with team members to monitor behavioral health and manage behavior management strategies effectively Maintain confidentiality of medical records and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times Use medical terminology appropriately when documenting client information in medical records and reports Qualifications Prior experience or training in behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), or special education is preferred Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children and individuals with developmental disabilities or autism Strong understanding of medical documentation, medical terminology, and patient care procedures Ability to assist with ADLs while maintaining a compassionate and patient-centered approach Excellent data collection skills to track client progress accurately Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards in healthcare settings Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members, clients, and families Join us in creating a positive impact through engaging work that promotes growth, independence, and well-being for those we serve.
