Location:

Putnam County, NY (in a Public Daycare setting)

Status:

Part time / Fee for service

Hours:

Monday

  • Friday 8:30am
  • 2pm
Compensation:

$19-20 hourly

  • Rates are determined by the service provided, professional experience and license/certifications held. In addition the position posted may be either full-time or fee-for-service (FFS), depending on the current caseload which will be discussed during the interview. This arrangement can vary and is subject to change.

Incentive Program Responsibilities:

Assists a student with special needs by providing academic, behavioral, and personal support. Work closely with teachers and specialists to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and ensure the student's success in the classroom. Provide direct support to the assigned student in academic and social activities. Assist with classroom assignments, adapting materials as needed. Monitor and support behavioral goals, using positive reinforcement strategies. Help with daily living tasks, such as mobility, hygiene, and transitions. Escort the student to different locations (bathroom, cafeteria, therapy sessions). Communicate regularly with teachers, therapists, and parents about progress. Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment. Understand and demonstrate the company core values. And more!
