Job Overview A loving family in the Scranton area is seeking an energetic, compassionate, and experienced Support Service Professional to provide high-quality, enhanced in-home and community support for their active adult son with Autism. Description of Duties:

• Assist with ADL's as needed
• Ensure health and safety needs are met at home and in the community
• Provide transportation to community events, activities, and rides
• Promote and encourage the use of verbal language
• Communicate with guardian and surrogate on an ongoing basis
• Complete and document goals Qualification /

Requirements:

Requirements:

• Valid PA driver's license, reliable vehicle, and clean driving record for transportation needs.
• Bachelor's Degree In Psychology, Education, Special Education, Counseling, Social Work, or Gerontology or Registered Behavior Technician, Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst, or NADD Certification in one of the following: NADD Competency Based Clinical Certification, Dual Diagnosis Certification
• Willing to Participate in Background Check
• Must be dependable, and punctual

Experience:

• Proven track record working with non-verbal individuals on the autism spectrum.
• Demonstrated ability to manage behavior challenges through positive reinforcement techniques.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency with AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices.
