Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic team as an RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) Applied Behavior Analyst Therapist, where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality behavioral therapy to children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. In this engaging position, you will implement individualized treatment plans, support skill development, and promote positive behavior change through evidence-based practices. Duties Implement behavior intervention plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to promote skill acquisition and reduce challenging behaviors Collect and record data meticulously during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, feeding, toileting, and other self-care routines Use applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to teach communication, social skills, and adaptive behaviors Collaborate with team members to develop and update individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding client confidentiality and managing medical records securely Support clients in various settings such as homes, schools, or clinics while ensuring a safe and positive environment Skills Strong understanding of behavioral therapy principles and applied behavior analysis techniques Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorder Ability to assist with ADLs and implement teaching strategies effectively Proficient in data collection methods and maintaining accurate medical documentation Knowledge of medical terminology related to behavioral health and patient care Excellent communication skills for working collaboratively with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams Demonstrated patience, empathy, and adaptability in working with diverse populations Join us in this rewarding role where your enthusiasm for teaching and helping others can truly shine!
