• Primary Mental Health Overview Reprieve Recovery is seeking a dependable and compassionate Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to support clients receiving treatment for primary mental health conditions.

This position plays an important role in maintaining a safe, structured, and supportive housing environment while assisting clients with their daily needs and treatment goals. The ideal candidate will be reliable, professional, comfortable enforcing boundaries, and able to communicate effectively with clients, staff, and members of the clinical team. Important Employment Requirements Applicants must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and must be able to pass a Level 2 background screening. Responsibilities Monitor client safety, behavior, and overall well-being. Complete required client rounds and safety checks. Assist with medication administration according to physician orders and company procedures. Provide transportation to clinical services, appointments, and approved activities. Support clients in following daily schedules, curfews, chores, and housing expectations. Respond appropriately to behavioral concerns using crisis-intervention and de-escalation techniques. Complete timely and accurate documentation of incidents, client concerns, medication administration, and other required activities. Maintain professional boundaries while providing compassionate support. Communicate concerns and changes in client behavior to supervisors and clinical staff. Help maintain a clean, safe, and supportive living environment. Follow all company policies, confidentiality requirements, and safety procedures. Assist with other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in mental health, behavioral health, supportive housing, or a related setting is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred or must be obtained after hire. Strong communication, documentation, and conflict-resolution skills. Ability to remain calm and professional during challenging situations. Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team. Basic computer and electronic documentation skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriate professional boundaries.
