Make a difference in someone's life… A Mental Health Technician is responsible for providing skills training and other services to assigned program clients as outlined in each individual's plan (IP). Duties also include monitoring the acquisition of designated skills. Skills training and other services may include, but are not limited to; socialization, recreation, self-care, communication, physical/nutritional needs, related personal independence opportunities, vocational opportunities and gross and/or fine motor skills. Must be a MHP or eligible to become a MHP which requires a Bachelor's Degree in the field or 5 years of experience.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Program Technician is responsible for providing skills training and other services to assigned program clients as outlined in each individual's plan (IP). Supervise clients in home, and assist with life skills. Observe assigned program clients' behaviors and interactions. Assist with program supply monitoring, ordering and stocking. Ensure group home is safe and clean, submitting work orders as necessary. Respect the privacy, confidentiality and property of clients. Maintains ethical and professional boundaries. Keeps and maintains appropriate and required records. Understands and follows appropriate policies, procedures, rules, and regulations. Regular, reliable, predictable attendance.
