Job Description

Our client is currently seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) for an Early Intervention Program in Aston, PA. Working with students aged 3-5, you will collaborate with certified special education teachers, a supportive BCBA team, and crisis management staff to provide individualized instruction and behavioral support in a structured, nurturing environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist in delivering academic content, modifying materials, and leading small group activities. Reinforce positive behavior strategies and support student IEP-driven behavior plans. Support daily self-care needs, including meals, hygiene, mobility, and assistance with toileting and diapering. Monitor students during classroom activities, transitions, lunch, and recess to ensure safety. Work closely with teachers, therapists, and staff to implement daily lessons and interventions. Track student progress, collect behavioral or academic data, and assist with daily logs. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom while adhering to crisis intervention protocols when needed. Maintain strict student privacy (FERPA compliance) and complete 20 hours of annual training.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Previous experience as a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) required. High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field preferred. Comfort working in an intermediate unit setting and supporting student toileting, diapering, and feeding. Strong team player with excellent communication skills and daily consistency.
