Job Description
Join an established, midwifery-led women's health practice in scenic Central Vermont. This full-scope Certified Nurse Midwife opportunity offers the ability to provide obstetric and gynecologic care, attend births, perform advanced procedures, and collaborate with a supportive team of experienced midwives and physicians. With approximately 220 annual deliveries, support for physiologic birth, waterbirth, VBACs, and twin gestations, this role is ideal for a CNM seeking clinical autonomy, meaningful patient relationships, and a long-term home in a close-knit community.
The Birthing Center features:
- Five Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) rooms
- Highly skilled and supportive nursing staff
- Collaborative care with OB physicians for higher-risk pregnancies Key Responsibilities
- Provide full-scope midwifery care including prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecologic services
- Attend and manage labor and deliveries
- Perform first assist duties, ultrasound services, and external cephalic versions
- Educate and counsel patients on reproductive and women's health issues
- Participate in shared call coverage
Compensation & Benefits:
- $124,800
- 156,000 annually based on full-time employment
