Leads activities involving music, instruments, and sound. Assists patients with disabilities to learn to use public resources such as parks and public transportation, and integrate in the community. Works with people of all ages, in schools, nursing homes, clinics and other healthcare facilities, or in parks and recreation departments.

Degree or Equivalency in Music Therapy Board Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) Licensed Music Therapist (CT) (or eligible) Valid Driver's License & Reliable Transportation At least 1 years of experience as a full-time music therapist (preferred) Background in mental health and/or developmental disorders (preferred) Experience with IEPs (or educational settings preferred) Strong clinical writing and documentation skillsResponsibilities:
As a valued member of our clinical team, you will have the opportunity to lead individual and group music therapy sessions with a diverse range of clients, including children and adults with developmental disabilities, mental health disorders, neurological disorders, and wellness needs. Your responsibilities will include creating personalized treatment plans, tracking and analyzing session data, writing detailed clinical reports, managing client schedules, and actively participating in treatment team meetings. Additionally, you may be involved in non-clinical activities, such as teaching music lessons or facilitating music enrichment groups, based on the evolving needs of our clients.Hours:
Hartford County- 20hrs+/week New Haven/ Fairfield Counties
- 15+hrs/ week This position can remain part-time or can grow to full-time if desired.

We are currently hiring for two (2) regions- Hartford County and New Haven/ Fairfield County.
Wages:
The hourly wage starts at $25.00. This is not a paid per visit position nor is the wage different for different tasks. We believe in compensating our team members for every hour of work they complete whether that is leading a session, disinfecting instruments, writing reports, or engaging in supervision. Full-time salaries start at $52,000/yr for entry clinicians plus benefits. We offer higher pay rates for experienced clinicians or those with additional certifications and specialized expertise that enhance their abilities to execute their role. Clinicians who supervise students receive a pay differential. We also offer performance-based bonuses and regular pay reviews to reward hard work and dedication. You will be paid for client contact, travel time, session planning, documentation, and other essential duties, ensuring that all aspects of your work are valued and compensated.Benefits:
