Job Description •Up to a $5,000 Sign-On-Bonus Available• We are looking to add a Seizure Monitoring Technologist at Baptist Medical Center, located in Downtown Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time, night -shift opportunity. As the Seizure Monitoring Technologist, you will provide 24-hour visual monitoring, and subsequent intervention when indicated, of seizure patients in the Neuro ICU and EMU (Epilepsy Monitoring Unit) via a remote video system. You will also maintain components of the monitoring system and communicate with staff and members of the Comprehensive Epilepsy team assigned to a patient regarding the patient's seizure status. At Baptist, we specialize in advanced neurodiagnostic care, offering innovative technology and services such as long-term epilepsy monitoring, intraoperative neuromonitoring, and epilepsy surgical support.
Seizure Monitoring Technologist Job Responsibilities:
Evaluate, plan, direct, and administer treatment to patients of all diagnoses. Provide extensive patient/family education. Provide multidisciplinary team care with other rehab professionals, nurses, physicians, social service providers, respiratory therapists, support staff, etc. Participate in departmental operations and performance improvement activities. Responsible for remaining within budget guidelines. Participate in mandatory education and licensure requirements.
Experience Requirements:
One-Two Years Long Term Monitoring/EEG Experience Required Education & Credential Requirements:
