Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract Advance your career in imaging as a Nuclear Med/PET CT Technologist with a specialized role focused on Nuclear Medicine, CT/PET, and Nuclear Med technology. This contract opportunity spans 13 weeks and is ideal for professionals who excel in a high-tech, patient-focused environment.
Schedule:
4x10 hour shifts (days)
Qualifications:
Experience operating GE Omni equipment is required Dual certification: NMTCB or ARRT(N) and one of the following: ARRT(R), ARRT(CT), or NMTCB(CT) Active New York State licenses in both Nuclear Medicine and Radiology Proficient in advanced imaging modalities, including PET/CT Strong knowledge base in radiopharmaceutical handling, radiation safety, and patient imaging protocols Excellent communication and organizational skills Previous work experience in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality PET/CT and nuclear medicine studies with a focus on safety and accuracy Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals under strict safety protocols Operate and maintain the GE Omni and other imaging equipment efficiently Evaluate images and assist radiologists in diagnostic procedures Maintain up-to-date, accurate patient records and adhere to all documentation and safety standards Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to optimize patient outcomes Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations governing imaging procedures This position offers an excellent chance to work with advanced technology in a supportive clinical environment.
