Qualifications:
Valid certification or registry in Nuclear Medicine Technology (ARRT-N or NMTCB) Current BLS certification Proven experience in nuclear medicine imaging procedures Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols and quality assurance Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and team collaboration Prior experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic imaging procedures Operate nuclear medicine equipment, including gamma cameras and
SPECT/CT
systems Acquire high-quality images according to physician orders and protocols Monitor patient wellbeing before, during, and after procedures, providing information and reassurance as needed Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records in compliance with regulations Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and calibration records are updated Adhere strictly to infection control and safety guidelines
