9686984-29135 Job Description Heres an exciting contract opportunity for a dedicated School Psychologist to make a meaningful impact in a K-8 environment near Saint Matthews, SC. This flexible role is available for either full-time or part-time candidates and extends through May 21, 2026. Youll work with a manageable caseload of approximately 60 students, collaborating with committed educators and families to guide student success. In this position, youll focus on supporting students across kindergarten through 8th grade, conducting assessments, developing individualized plans, and providing critical consultation to school teams. With 10 evaluations scheduled this year, your expertise will drive early interventions, behavioral strategies, and comprehensive educational support. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about fostering student growth and equity.
Qualifications and Experience:
Active School Psychologist certification and credential required Masters or Specialists degree in School Psychology Experience in K-8 or similar school settings strongly preferred Skilled in conducting psychoeducational evaluations and report writing Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities Flexibility to adapt between full and part-time scheduling as needed
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive student assessments and evaluations Collaborate with teachers and parents to develop effective intervention strategies Participate in eligibility meetings, IEPs, and student support teams Provide counseling and direct support to students as necessary Maintain detailed documentation of services and evaluation outcomes Help promote a positive and inclusive school culture
