In this role, you will provide high-quality medical care to infants, children, and adolescents in a clinical setting. You will work closely with pediatricians and other healthcare professionals to assess, diagnose, and treat various health conditions while ensuring a supportive environment for patients and their families. Duties Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and health assessments of pediatric patients. Order and interpret medical imaging and laboratory tests to aid in diagnosis. Provide care for infectious diseases, including infection control measures. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient encounter. Monitor vital signs and assess patients' responses to treatments. Administer treatments such as gastric lavage when necessary. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in inpatient settings to develop care plans. Educate patients and families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions. Stay current with advancements in internal medicine and pediatric care practices. Experience A Master's degree in Nursing with a specialization as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner is required. Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred. Proficiency in managing pediatric patients with various ailments is essential. Familiarity with medical records systems and documentation practices is necessary. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, families, and healthcare teams.
