Position Summary:

The Women's Health Nurse Practitioner or Certified Nurse Midwife will provide comprehensive reproductive, gynecological, prenatal, and preventive healthcare services for patients across the lifespan. The ideal candidate is an experienced clinician with a strong commitment to evidence-based practice, patient education, and improving health outcomes for diverse populations. Working alongside physicians, advanced practice providers, behavioral health professionals, and care teams, the selected candidate will play a vital role in delivering high-quality women's health services in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive women's health assessments, including physical examinations, health histories, and preventive screenings. Provide prenatal, postpartum, gynecological, and family planning services. Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic women's health conditions. Prescribe medications and treatment plans in accordance with applicable regulations and clinical protocols. Perform office-based procedures including Pap smears, IUD insertions and removals, contraceptive counseling, suturing, and related women's health procedures. Educate patients regarding reproductive health, contraception, pregnancy, menopause, preventive care, and wellness strategies. Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation within electronic medical record systems. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development activities. Support organizational efforts to improve access to care and health outcomes within underserved communities. Qualifications Required Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Nurse Midwifery program. Current and unrestricted Illinois licensure as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) or Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM). DEA registration and prescriptive authority, or ability to obtain. Board certification relevant to specialty. Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and patient management skills. Excellent communication and patient education abilities.

Preferred:

Previous experience in outpatient women's health, OB/GYN, reproductive health, or community health settings. Experience providing prenatal and postpartum care. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems Experience serving culturally diverse and medically underserved populations. Bilingual skills are a plus. Telehealth experience is desirable.

Pay:

$110,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
