Description Veterinary Hospital Assistant Thrive Pet Healthcare Specialists Hoffman Estates, IL Full-time-Sunday - Thursday 11a-7p

Job Overview:

The Hospital Assistant provides ease of flow and the basic needs for the hospital team to perform their medical duties. Mechanical and animal handling skills are required. Duties include, but not limited to: Thoroughly clean and disinfect the ward areas of the hospital as often as necessary (i.e. to ensure no cages or kennels are soiled and odors are not apparent) Provide routine maintenance on all non-medical devices which would include but not be limited to: kennel doors breakroom appliances laundry machinery outside play yard turfing Thoroughly clean treatment areas and follow proper procedures for the cleaning of isolation Assist with various departments stock supplies Event set up and dismantle Assist employee enrichment inventory Assist employee engagement functions At the request of the medical care team, assist with patient and animal handling for examination and other procedures
