Job Description

The Advance Practice Provider (APP), including Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants, plays a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care. They collaborate with a team of physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in a primary care setting. The APP evaluates, diagnoses, monitors, and manages patients using advanced clinical assessment skills and therapeutics, working under physician supervision.
  • Qualifications:
  • Post Graduate Degree
  • Advanced Practice Clinician or Physician Assistant Licensure
  • BLS and ACLS certification
  • No prior experience required
  • Skills:
  • Organizational, verbal, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • Mathematical, analytical, and literacy skills
  • Proficiency in computer charting and Excel
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Mental & Emotional Requirements:
  • Manage stress and decision-making under pressure
  • Handle multiple priorities and work independently
  • Appropriately manage emotions and interactions in high-stress situations
  • Working Conditions:
  • Exposure to blood, body fluids, and communicable diseases
  • Use of CRT monitors
  • Physical Requirements:
  • Medium work; ability to sit, stand, walk for extended periods
  • Ability to exert up to 50 lbs., perform repetitive motions, and distinguish colors
  • Good manual dexterity and vision are essential
