Job Description
Job Summary:
We are currently seeking skilled Internal / Family Medicine Physicians to provide services in our sub-acute and long term care settings located across the Eastern Shore in Maryland. Tasks include but not limited to:- Must be an excellent communicator with outstanding interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication.
- Collaboration with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective patient care plans.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and conditions.
- Prescribe medications and other treatments.
- Perform evaluations on patients with changes in condition upon facilities request .
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory and imaging studies.
- Adhere to infection control protocols to ensure patient safety.
- Document promptly all patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records using electronic health record systems (e.g., GEHRimed and PCC).
- Attend to patients and their loved ones, providing information and education about preventive care, health promotion, and disease management as needed.
- Coordinate schedules and patient needs through our Administrative office.
