PRN with weekend availability required Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare is seeking a PRN Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to provide coverage in our Same Day Clinics in Clinton and Warsaw, Missouri . This is a great opportunity for an experienced APP who enjoys a fast-paced clinical environment, variety in their day, and the flexibility of PRN scheduling. The provider will care for patients with acute, non-emergent healthcare needs while working alongside an experienced clinical support team. Weekend availability is required , and the APP must be willing to provide coverage at both our Clinton and Warsaw locations based on scheduling needs. What You'll Do As a PRN Same Day Clinic APP, you will: Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with acute illnesses and minor injuries. Provide same-day primary care services for patients across the lifespan. Perform appropriate physical examinations, diagnostic testing, and treatment. Prescribe medications and develop evidence-based treatment plans within scope of practice. Identify patients who require a higher level of care and coordinate appropriate referrals or transfers. Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, follow-up care, and preventive health needs. Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, medical assistants, and other members of the healthcare team. Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation in the electronic medical record. Support a positive patient experience while providing efficient, high-quality care. Provide coverage at both the Clinton and Warsaw Same Day Clinic locations as needed. What We're Looking For We are looking for an APP who is comfortable working independently while also valuing collaboration and teamwork.

The ideal candidate is:

Confident evaluating and treating a wide variety of acute primary care conditions. Comfortable working in a fast-paced Same Day Clinic setting. Flexible and dependable with scheduling. Available to work weekends as part of the PRN coverage schedule. Able to work at both our Clinton and Warsaw clinic locations. Patient-focused with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Organized, efficient, and able to manage multiple patient needs throughout the day. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program. Current Missouri licensure or eligibility for Missouri licensure. Current DEA registration or eligibility to obtain. Current BLS certification. Previous primary care, urgent care, Same Day Clinic, or similar experience preferred. Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills. Why Join GVMH?
