Job Description

Responsible for providing medical care including assessing and managing patients in the office following established standards and scope of practice, and if deemed necessary first assist to the surgeons in the operating room and office call coverage. Conveys a positive image of Randolph Health Medical Group at all times. Graduate of an accredited college or university with a Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing. Master degree as a Nurse Practitioner required. If NP, licensurein North Carolina as NP. Or, Master's degree as a Physician Assistant required. If PA, licensure by the State of North Carolina as a PA-C required. Maintain appropriate DEA licensure. Current ACLS and BLS, and PAL certification (if serving pediatric population). Knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT coding; strong assessment skills; ability to prescribe medication appropriately; ability to work independently. New graduates acceptable. One or more years experience preferable but not required.
