Job Description

Atlantic Digestive Specialists is a well-established private practice dedicated to providing exceptional gastrointestinal care. We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic specialty office setting, where you will play a vital role in the care and treatment of adult patients with GI diagnoses.
Responsibilities:
As a Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant at Atlantic Digestive Specialists, you will be responsible for:
Patient Care:
Providing comprehensive follow-up care and treatment planning for adult patients with gastrointestinal conditions.
Office-Based Practice:
Conducting patient consultations and follow-up appointments, both in-person and via telemedicine.
Collaboration:
Collaborating closely with our team of experienced physicians and other mid-level providers within our office.
Hospital Rounds:
Opportunity for potential future involvement in hospital rounding and consultations.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in the state of New Hampshire. Background in gastrointestinal diagnoses and treatment. Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach to care. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team. Proficiency in utilizing telemedicine tools is a plus. Willingness to primarily work at our Somersworth office, with potential flexibility for shifts in our Portsmouth location.
