Location:
Paterson, New Jersey Position overview Join a long-established, family-owned pediatric practice as a Pediatric or Family Nurse Practitioner in a 100% outpatient role. No inpatient rounding, deliveries, or call. Flexible full-time or part-time schedules; optional Saturday coverage. Key responsibilities Provide primary pediatric care across all age groups in an outpatient setting Conduct comprehensive history and physical exams, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions Prescribe medications and manage treatment plans (DEA required) Perform anticipatory guidance, immunization counseling, and development screening Educate patients and families and coordinate referrals as needed Document clinical encounters in the electronic medical record and participate in quality improvement activities Minimum qualifications Master's or Doctorate in Nursing from an accredited program Certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Active or eligible for New Jersey NP licensure Current DEA registration or ability to obtain one Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, communication, and patient education skills Commitment to family-centered pediatric care Practice setting Independent, family-owned pediatric practice with a stable patient base for over 30 years. Salary:
