Since opening in 2024, AbendHealth has grown rapidly and now cares for thousands of patients across Northern New Jersey. We are excited to be expanding with a new Sparta, NJ location and are looking for an exceptional Family Nurse Practitioner to join our team and become an important part of establishing and growing the new practice. This is not a high-volume corporate primary care position. We intentionally limit provider schedules to approximately two patients per hour , giving our clinicians the time and support necessary to provide thoughtful, high-quality care and develop meaningful long-term relationships with their patients. What Makes This Position Different Reasonable patient volume Our goal is approximately two patients per hour , allowing providers appropriate time to evaluate patients, address concerns, and practice thoughtful medicine. No call There is no after-hours call requirement for this position. No corporate bureaucracy AbendHealth is locally and privately owned. Providers have direct access to practice leadership, and decisions can be made quickly. Clinical autonomy with physician support We want our providers to develop their own patient relationships and practice evidence-based medicine with meaningful autonomy, while always having access to physician colleagues for collaboration when needed. Help establish our new Sparta location This position offers the opportunity to become one of the key providers at our new Sparta practice, establish your own patient panel, and play an important role in growing AbendHealth's presence in Sussex County. The Role The Family Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive outpatient primary care, including: Annual physicals and preventive care Acute and same-day visits Chronic disease management Diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, thyroid disease, and other common primary care conditions Weight management and GLP-1 therapy Women's and men's health Medication management Ordering and interpreting laboratory and diagnostic testing Patient education and lifestyle counseling Coordinating care with specialists when appropriate Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation Developing long-term relationships with an established patient panel Providers with particular experience or interest in weight management, metabolic health, endocrinology, women's health, men's health, hormone therapy, preventive medicine, or lifestyle medicine are especially encouraged to apply. QualificationsRequired Current New Jersey Advanced Practice Nurse license Family Nurse Practitioner certification Current prescribing authority in New Jersey Ability to obtain appropriate payer credentialing Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills Primary care experience is preferred, although candidates with other relevant outpatient clinical experience will also be considered.

Compensation & Benefits Salary:

$115,000-$150,000 per year , based on experience, qualifications, and scope of practice.
