Job Title:
Functional Integrative Medicine Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Functional Integrative Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. This advanced practice provider will deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care within an integrative medicine setting, focusing on holistic health and wellness. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for promoting optimal health through evidence-based practices. This role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to assess, treat, and support patients on their journey toward improved health and vitality. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review, physical examinations, and functional health evaluations. Prescribe medications and treatment plans in accordance with state regulations and clinical guidelines. Communicate effectively with patients to educate them about their health conditions, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications. Manage electronic health records (EHR) efficiently to document patient encounters, treatment plans, and progress notes. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop personalized integrative care strategies. Monitor patient responses to treatments and adjust plans as necessary to optimize outcomes. Provide ongoing support for patients managing chronic conditions or pursuing wellness goals through integrative approaches. Qualifications Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the relevant state. Certification in functional or integrative medicine is preferred but not required. Proven experience in advanced practice nursing or physician assistant roles within a clinical setting. Strong knowledge of medication prescribing practices and patient assessment techniques. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse patient populations. Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) management. Pay:
$65.00 - $75.00 per hour Expected hours: 8.0 - 16.0 per week
