Job Description

About Current Clinic Management, LLC Millions of people live with Atrial Fibrillation (AFib), a chronic condition that is often debilitating and under-treated. Access to timely, specialized care from electrophysiologists (EPs) remains a persistent challenge in many communities. Current Clinic is pioneering a new model, establishing a network of specialized, EP-focused ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) to expand capacity and bring life-changing treatment closer to home. As a Nurse Practitioner at Current Clinic, you are at the heart of patient care, seeing patients in the clinic, participating in procedures, and serving as a trusted clinical partner to our electrophysiology team. Your cardiology background gives you the foundation to assess, diagnose, and manage complex cardiac patients with confidence, while your familiarity with Afib means you understand the nuance and urgency that this condition demands. You thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced clinic environment where no two days look the same. Building meaningful relationships with patients is as important to you as clinical precision, and you take pride in translating complex cardiac concepts into guidance that patients and families can act on. Your experience in both a cardiology clinic and lab setting has sharpened your instincts and prepared you to contribute from day one. You are inspired by the opportunity to be part of something new. Current Clinic is growing rapidly, and the providers who join us early will help shape the culture, protocols, and standards of care that define our practice for years to come. If you are looking for a role where your expertise directly influences patient outcomes and organizational direction, this is it. What you will be doing See patients in the clinic, conducting evaluations, follow-up visits, and consultations for Afib and related cardiac conditions. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring care decisions are grounded in current clinical guidelines. Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests including ECGs and other cardiac monitoring, translating findings into clear clinical action. Educate patients and their families on Afib management, medication adherence, lifestyle modifications, and procedural preparation or recovery. Participate in EP procedures in the hospital. Coordinate care across the clinical team, including referrals, pre- and post-procedural follow-up, and communication with external providers. Maintain thorough, timely, and accurate clinical documentation in the electronic health record, meeting all regulatory and compliance requirements. Contribute to the development of clinical protocols, patient education materials, and quality improvement initiatives as the practice continues to grow. What we're looking for Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Indiana, with board certification (FNP, ACNP, or equivalent). A minimum of two to three years of experience in a cardiology clinic setting, with demonstrated competency in managing cardiac patients across the continuum of care. Meaningful familiarity with Afib and other arrhythmias, including their presentation, diagnostic workup, treatment options, and patient management considerations. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills, with the ability to manage a busy patient panel independently while knowing when to escalate. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-first approach to education, shared decision-making, and relationship building. Proficiency with electronic health record systems and comfort adopting new clinical technologies in a growing, digitally-forward practice.
