We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) with a background in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Adult & Pediatric care. As a key member of our medical team, you will provide high-quality care to patients of all ages in a dynamic and supportive environment. This role offers a balanced work schedule with no overnight hours.Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient interviews and take comprehensive medical histories.
- Perform thorough physical examinations and assess patient health.
- Order laboratory tests and diagnostic studies such as X-rays.
- Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions.
- Prescribe medications and medical devices.
- Collaborate with supervising physicians to refer patients for specialist consultations.
- Utilize electronic medical records (Tebra) for charting, notes, and health assessments.
- Participate in teleconferences and in-person patient case reviews as needed.
- Provide quality care in compliance with National Urgent Care Quality Measures (Core Measures).
- Maintain open communication with supervising physicians throughout the day.
- Complete and submit thorough patient notes and documentation at the time of discharge.
- Employ critical thinking skills to manage patient care effectively and identify potential complications.
- Use excellent customer service skills to support and assist patients.
- Maintain accurate patient encounter logs and submit billing information through the EMR system.
Qualifications:
- Active Nurse Practitioner licensed in Nevada.
- Minimum of 2+ years experience working as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Experience in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Adult & Pediatric care.
- Licensed to administer care patients of all ages.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records, particularly Tebra (preferred).
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
