In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and prescribe medications to patients across diverse settings. Your expertise will help improve mental health outcomes, promote recovery, and support overall well-being for individuals of all ages. Responsibilities Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, including patient history, mental status examinations, and diagnostic assessments using clinical research and medical terminology. Prescribe and manage medications in accordance with DEA regulations, including psychopharmacology and medication administration tailored to each patient's needs. Collaborate with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to develop integrated treatment plans and ensure comprehensive patient care. Utilize EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or eClinicalWorks for accurate medical documentation, medical records management, and clinical data entry. Provide telehealth services to expand access to mental health care, ensuring HIPAA compliance and secure communication channels. Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and wellness strategies while promoting health coaching and client communication. Participate in case management activities, discharge planning, and utilization review to optimize patient outcomes across outpatient, inpatient, or post-acute care settings. Qualifications
•Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited institution. Licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with prescriptive authority. Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). Experience working with individuals with mental health and substance use disorders preferred. Experience working with adolescents and adults required. Demonstrated proficiency with electronic health record systems and documentation requirements. Strong understanding of evidence-based treatment approaches, including psychopharmacology.
