Job Description
Position Overview Provides primary care to patients, collaborating with and under the direction of physicians in the clinic, following established standards and practices. Helps with all aspects of patient care, including diagnosis, treatments and consultations. Educates patients about preventative care and prescribed treatments. Conducts physicals, orders tests and serves as a patient's primary healthcare provider.

Responsibilities Include:
Assist with triaging obstetric and gynecologic patients, including assessment and determination of the appropriate level of care. Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments, including history and physical examinations Evaluate patients presenting with urgent OB/GYN concerns and collaborate with the supervising or attending physician regarding the plan of care Assist with the management and coordination of hospitalized OB/GYN patients within the APP's scope of practice and organizational policies Facilitate communication and coordination between inpatient and outpatient teams to support continuity of care and appropriate follow-up Participate in patient education, discharge planning, and transitions of careQualifications:
Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant certification Current New York State license BLS and ACLS certificationLocation:
Binghamton, New York, is located approximately 2.5 hours northwest of New York City and one hour south of Syracuse. The position includes a competitive salary range of $129,000- $135000, bonus incentives, a sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and a comprehensive benefits package.
