Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive mental health care to patients across various settings, including inpatient and outpatient environments. You will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating mental health disorders while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Duties Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs. Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, ensuring proper dosages and monitoring for side effects. Provide psychotherapy and counseling services to patients as needed. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations. Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices in psychiatric care. Skills The ideal candidate will possess the following skills: Strong knowledge of Psychopharmacology for effective medication management. $55.00 - $80.00 per hour
