You must have a calm focus and the ability to multitask in challenging and busy circumstances. We are looking for someone who is mature, confident, and flexible with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. This position requires an individual who works quickly and goes beyond the call of duty. Other responsibilities of the Family Nurse Practitioner role include: Perform initial patient screenings and patient history and physical examinations Update patient records and check records for accuracy at each patient appointment Analyze test data and determine the need for follow-up appointments and further treatment options Deliver quality care while maintaining all company metrics pertaining to productivity Serve as the resource patients need for ongoing care information, counseling and provide guidance for any patients with critical conditions Prescribe medication and provide monitoring Provide professional consultation to staff Participate in staff conferences

Minimum Education and Experience:

Graduate of accredited Nurse Practitioner Program or Physician Assistant Program 3+ years' nursing experience Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in Virginia Ability to work within a team and take direction Must be familiar with the electronic medical records (EMR) charting system Strong written and interpersonal communication skills & strong critical thinking skills Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast paced, team environment Competency in the use of electronic medical records (EMR) charting system

Required License or Certification:
