Sumter Health & Rehabilitation is hiring Nursing Assistants (NAs) and providing paid CNA training to help you begin a career in healthcare. You'll have the opportunity to earn while you learn, gain hands-on experience in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting, and work toward becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant. No previous CNA certification is required. Nursing Assistant Responsibilities Assist residents with daily care and personal needs under the direction of the nursing team. Help with meals, mobility, repositioning, and other daily activities. Provide companionship and support while protecting resident dignity and privacy. Assist nursing staff with non-certified resident care duties within your scope of practice. Participate in required CNA training and successfully complete certification requirements. Follow facility safety, infection prevention, and resident care procedures. Qualifications CNA certification is NOT required to apply. Interest in becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Compassionate and comfortable working closely with older adults and individuals needing assistance. Dependable and committed to completing the CNA training program.
