Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Personal Care Aide / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. In this vital role, you will deliver compassionate patient care, assist with daily activities, and support residents' well-being in a dynamic senior living setting. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a safe, comfortable environment for our residents. Duties Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using patient transfer methods and Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor and observe patients' health status, recording vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration accurately using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems Administer medications and perform catheter care following medical terminology guidelines and home healthcare regulations Provide specialized dementia and Alzheimer's care, including memory care activities and end-of-life support with compassion and respect Support patients during transfers, ensuring safe handling while adhering to HIPAA regulations to maintain confidentiality Document patient care activities thoroughly in medical records and ensure compliance with all home health care assistance standards Respond promptly to emergencies with first aid or basic life support (BLS), including CPR when needed Experience Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home healthcare agencies is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia is a strong plus Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for accurate documentation of patient information Proven ability to provide compassionate patient personal care assistance while maintaining patient confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines Hands-on experience with patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts or other mobility aids Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration Join us to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors! $14.00 - $15.25 per hour
