  • Coverage Requirements:
  • Duration:
  • Full-time coverage required for July and August.
  • Credentialing Timeline:
  • Average credentialing duration is 30 days; emergency privileges available. Must have clean files only.
  • Case Types:
  • - Scope of cases includes General Surgery, OB/GYN, Gastroenterology, Orthopedics, and occasional Cardiac Catheterization Lab procedures. Excludes cardiothoracic and neurological surgeries.
  • Majority of Cases:
  • Primarily Orthopedics and General Surgery.
  • Facility Details:
  • Operating Rooms:
  • 2 main ORs available.
  • Shift Schedule:
  • Weekday coverage, Monday through Friday.
  • Shift Timing:
  • 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
  • Minimum Monthly Shift Requirement:
  • 10-20 shifts.
  • Call Requirements:
  • Off-site beeper call is mandatory, with hourly callback stipulation for any recalls.
  • Qualifications:
  • - Active Arizona medical license required. Clean malpractice history; no prior issues acceptable. Board certification is mandatory.
  • Certification and License Requirements:
  • Certifications:
  • ACLS and PALS must be current.
  • Licensing:
  • Must possess a valid Arizona medical license.
