Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse
  • Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
  • Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
  • Assist with medical procedures, such as suture removal and wound care
  • Set up and maintain medical equipment and supplies
  • Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
  • Assist with patient transfers and repositioning
  • Document patient information and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a nursing assistant training program
  • Current certification as a nursing assistant (CNA)
  • Experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred
  • Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures
  • Ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Experience administering injections is a plus
  • Experience in behavioral health or working with patients with mental health conditions is a plus
  • Ability to ventilate patients is a plus
