Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team for a full-time overnight (NOC) shift. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical environment, supporting patients' physical and emotional needs, and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in various clinical settings, including acute care, long-term care, or specialized units such as ICU, emergency, or geriatric care. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, EMR/EHR systems, and patient safety protocols is essential to succeed in this position. Responsibilities Deliver direct patient care including assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility support. Monitor and record vital signs accurately and report any significant changes to nursing staff. Assist with medical procedures such as catheter care, medication administration, and wound care following aseptic techniques. Support patients with complex needs including those with dementia, Alzheimer's, developmental disabilities, or behavioral health conditions. Operate medical equipment like Hoyer lifts and ensure safety protocols are strictly followed. Document patient information thoroughly using EMR/EHR systems while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in various settings including hospitals, clinics, assisted living facilities, or home health environments. Maintain a clean and safe environment adhering to infection control standards and hospital policies. Participate in ongoing training related to critical care, trauma centers, infectious disease management, or specialized patient populations. Requirements Valid CNA certification with current licensure. Prior experience in critical care units such as ICU or trauma centers is highly preferred; experience in emergency medicine or hospital medicine is advantageous. Familiarity with PointClickCare Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and aseptic techniques necessary for comprehensive patient care. Experience working with diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, behavioral health patients, or individuals with disabilities. Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while maintaining high standards of patient safety and comfort. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within healthcare teams. Working knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards. Pay:
$21.00 - $27.00 per hour
